Spent xmas in a relatively new property in Gangtok. The quality of the finishes is excellent, and the bathroom was superb with a rain shower and bathtub with more than enough hot water. Enjoyed the view southwest across the valley, which was a highlight. The restaurant had wonderful Indian food.
The location was not ideal, about 20 minutes uphill and down from the main market area. The breakfast buffet only had a few options, such as hard-boiled eggs and dry pancakes. They also charged an additional Rs400 per day for the heater, but it was not unreasonable considering the cheap room rate. They only accept cash, which was inconvenient.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff. The room and bathroom were immaculate, and the hotel had fantastic amenities. We also appreciated the convenient parking and easy transportation options. The location provided stunning views of the surrounding area, which we greatly enjoyed. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel boasts a great bang for your buck, with top, notch amenities at a very reasonable price. Enjoy a fabulous view to the southwest and indulge in excellent food at the in, house restaurant. the bathroom is particularly impressive, complete with a luxurious rain shower and bathtub. the staff is always willing to lend a hand, making for great service all, around.
While the hotel is located in a historic area of town, some may find the 20, minute uphill trek to the MG market area a bit of a hassle.

Relatively new property, excellent finishes. Superb bathroom with rain shower and bathtub. Nice view to the southwest. Staff willing to help. Great Indian food.
For us it was ideal.
